Survivors include 4 children, Dennis (Helen) Matheny, Marsha (Herschel) Wilson, Sandy (Ray) Sparks, David (Cheryl) Matheny;
4 grandchildren, Dallas, Deana, Rachael, Mona;
7 great grandchildren; and
4 great great grandchildren.

He was a retiree of the Okonite Company, Richmond, KY.
He was the loving husband of 55 years of Sarah Onalee Hall Matheny.
